LAN Infrastructure
1 Gbps wired LAN is available on-site

The VideoVault server requires a minimum 1 Gbps local network. Wi-Fi is not sufficient for production workloads.
Every editor's desk has a physical LAN port
Required
Each editing workstation needs a wired Ethernet port and a corresponding wall/switch port at the desk. Confirm both the desk port and the NIC on the PC are present.

Is the editor network using DHCP or static IPs? The VideoVault server will always get a static IP — this confirms how the rest of the network is managed.

Workstation Requirements
All editors have a 1 Gbps LAN port or a USB-C port for a converter

Every editing PC or laptop must have either a built-in 1 Gbps Ethernet NIC or a USB-C port. Machines without onboard LAN will need a USB-C to RJ45 converter — one per machine.
